The International School of The Hague is looking for a successful Visual Arts teacher for a part time teaching position.
The right candidate will be able to inspire and motivate students through their teaching of Visual Arts in both the IB MYP and DP programmes. Experience of the programmes is preferred.
The current position includes only MYP teaching classes, but the ability and willingness to teach the DP in the future is required. In addition, confidence in using digital media is preferred.
The current timetable is fixed and the times required are: Monday afternoon, all day Wednesday and all day Thursday. The current FTE is 0.5.
The successful candidate will be a team player who is highly motivated and fully embraces the school's ethos. They will be committed to delivering high quality learning experiences, which meet the needs of all students, regardless of their skills, attainment, and particular learning needs. Please know that in order to work for us, you must be a fully qualified teacher in accordance with the standards required by the Dutch Education Authorities (DUO). Successful candidates require:
· For all applicants to ISH Primary, a Bachelors Degree will suffice to be considered. However, all ISH Secondary applicants will need a Bachelor plus a Masters Level qualification in Education.
· For applicants from the UK, you will have completed the PGCE and been awarded QTS plus successful completion of the NQT induction year.
· For all applicants to ISH Secondary, your qualifications at either Bachelor or Masters level must also clearly indicate the subject that you are applying to teach in, in order to be recognised by DUO.
